Did Jesus Christ go to school or receive any education?

The Holy Bible doesn’t refer it. But I think He went to school like any children.

He learned to read and write Hebrew by the time He was 12, so that He could argue in the Temple. No doubt Joseph taught Him a trade.

Luke 2:52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature, and in favor with God and man.

Obviously he received an education. He could read the Bible. But what education he received, there is no evidence for this. Obviously he knew much about divine things, but not surprising, since he was himself divine.
 
I’m pretty sure he went to St. Mary’s Prep.

That what I heard, anyways.

The Bible infers to him working in shop w StepDad. Mary gave him religious education. When he got lost in the Temple, the religious were asking him question. The elders commented how wise he was for Bar Mitzbar.

I seem to remember learning that Jesus was taught Scriptures by His blessed Mother
 
He was a Rabbi, so yes, he received a religious education. It would have been very heavy on listening & recall: meditating on and committing entire passages to memory. Written text was expensive. The neurological structure of a 1st century mind was significantly different to a modern mind because of how they were used.

He was a very smart little rabbi when He stayed in Jerusalem and amazed the teachers of the Law at the Temple. I think He taught them a thing or two.

Not a conventional school like what we know today. Vocational education was often learned hands-on and the Torah was memorised, usually under the tutorship of a teacher or rabbi, a relationship of pupil/master. It was not uncommon for the master to lord it on the pupils, which Jesus tried to revolutionise when he became a rabbi himself - that “I am your friend, not master.”
 
I believe once read an account that described Nazareth at the time he was a child. There was a school attached to every synagogue and there young boys learned the Torah. In doing so they would have to have been taught basic reading, language, and math skills. That is what passed for public education in His day.
 
He was home-schooled.

Why do you believe he was illiterate?
We know he could write (it’s in the Bible)
We know he could read (it’s in the Bible when he taught from the scrolls).
 
At the time of Christ, almost all Jewish boys went to a synagogue school. I read once that they had a near 100% literacy rate among men. He certainly went to school.
