Homeschoolers often say this, but it is very unlikely. Synagogue schools were very numerous. I think I read once there were over 400 of them in Jerusalem alone at the time of Christ. All boys went to them between the ages of 5 and 13.

Most people in Jesus’s time and area were uneducated and illiterate. Jesus seems to be an exception to this which, though unusual, is not unheard of.
Joseph’s family was still apart of the poor low class, which 99% of the population at the time was, but his family was probably a little more well off than most; the family that Jesus came from was certainly not the lowest of the low. Joseph’s family, being devout Jews who were a little better off than others, probably gave their sons better education than most people of the time would’ve gotten, and this is fairly evident when we look at both Jesus and his relative James who displayed great knowledge. They probably would have received their education in the local synagogue.
Jesus could debate with the scribes and Pharisees, and he taught in synagogues, and was even awarded the title “rabbi” by the people, all of which indicates he was literate, and literate to the point where he could teach and even debate over Torah in an articulate manner. By no means was he a scholar like St. Paul was, but he was an educated man.
(Note: The idea that all Jewish boys went to Hebrew school in Jesus’s time is unsubstantiated and is generally considered nothing more but a myth by scholars)

What every child learns as he grows. I think you believe that Jesus’ humanity was only an illusion, that he did not experience as a boy/man what all human males experience. If that is the case, then why was there any need for the incarnation, why didn’t God just appear on a fiery chariot and say “bugga bugga, you are all redeemed, gotta go, I’ve got a date on Alpha Centuri 9”. The idea that Jesus was only God and just an illusion as a man is an early Church heresy that has been denied by the Church.

We can have foster children who have no blood connection to the family.
St. Joseph had no blood line to Jesus but has a legal connection through his marriage.
A step Dad has no blood to the child. Again,his wife (Mary) had a blood line to the child.
I feel it’s a matter of semantics. I’ll look up definitions. But, foster has no bloodline through Father or mother.
Step has bloodline w mother. HMMM

The Church never calls St. Joseph a step dad.
Step dad refers to a previous marriage. Not what you assert.

Jesus Christ is God, and God is omniscient, thus, Jesus wouldn’t need an education. If there was anything He didn’t know that He needed to, He could simply “know” it via His divinity. I don’t believe Jesus got a streamlined education like us modern-day people in the new world, however Jesus never had a shortage of knowledge and wisdom.
