The doctrine of transubstantiation would explain it quite well. In the Sacrament, the bread and the wine changed to the substance of Jesus mind soul and divinity, which we cannot see, while the appearance of the bread and the wine remains the same.

Actual flesh and blood is, well, actual flesh and blood.

This was quite a problem with the disciples as we can see. It is not much of a physical problem if we consider the spirit Jesus which we eat.

This (problem) is solved in the Sacrament, as the Body and the Blood of the Lord is in the appearance of the bread and the wine.

Probably other people would explain this better but off the top of my head, I just put that in a nutshell.

A qualification for that. Of course, we do not know what the flesh and blood of the resurrected Jesus looks like.
