Did Jesus being a devout Jew kill any of the animals himself for obligatory animal sacrifices?
There are many times Jesus would have been unclean. Every time he touched a leper, he himself was made unclean. If he touched a woman who was bleeding, he would have been unclean. And when he had a seminal emission, he would have had to purify himself. If he was in Jerusalem, he would have gone to the Temple. If he were in the Galilee, clearly not. But every time he was in Jerusalem, he would have worshipped in the Temple and thus brought some kind of animal offering for sacrifice.Although the Bible doesn’t mention Jesus taking an animal to the Temple for sacrifice, under Jewish law, which we know he obeyed, there are at least two times I can think of, where Jesus would have been ‘unclean’ under Jewish Law and would have needed to bring a sacrifice: when he touched a dead body and raised the little girl from the dead, and when the woman with the constant menstrual flow touched him.
