I’m prepping for tomorrow’s sixth grade catechism class, where I come across this description of the many attributes that was Jesus; “He gets hungry, tired and angry. When people ignore him or are ungrateful, his feelings are hurt.”
This sounds odd to me. What exactly are hurt feelings? Is this the result of disordered pride? Isn’t pride a cardinal sin? I’m thinking that _hurt feelings" is the result of our fallen nature, a nature we don’t share with Jesus.
