Scientists have studied the Eucharistic Miracles and determined that they are human heart tissue from a living man who was severely beaten. And they determined that the human heart tissue had NO DNA markers.
Therefore, based on this evidence, it’s reasonable to assume that Jesus did not have DNA and/or a Y Chromosome.
No DNA, then Jesus is not human nor a part of the human race.
He would merely appear to be human, which is not Catholic or historic Christian teaching.
And from where did Eve get her X-chromosome? Being of asexual origins, was she a clone of Adam? If so, was she a clone in all but the Y-chromosome? If a clone, did it mean that Adam had conjugal relationships with a genetic copy of himself? Was the DNA damage from being an offspring of two closely related genes that led to Cain’s emotional imbalance in his killing of his brother?
You are asking the right questions, which goes to show a literalistic interpretation of Genesis is not necessary – and never was in the history of the Catholic Church.
Yes, we must consider there to be an original pair of ensouled humans who were gifted with relationship with God but who also threw that gift away in sin.
This says nothing of whether or not Eve literally came from Adam’s rib, or Adam came from dirt.
We know that He was conceived when the Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary. Logically, then, we’d presume that the Holy Spirit provided whatever was needed to create a human embryo.
It’s not a question of “whose Y chromosome?”, then, since there was no other human male involved in the conception.
