To understand this a study of the human state of Original Innocense and the changes that occur when the lower faculties usurp the higher faculties and the effects of shame after sin.

Jesus had a sex drive but there was no one driving . Jesus’ purpose was not earthly like ours is. Heavenly purposes are accompanied with heavenly desires. Jesus’ body was fully obedient to the will. Jesus body wouldn’t shame Him with involuntary movements. When we rebelled that rebellion became manifest in the human body. We are born into it more or less individually. Jesus was free to fulfill the Words of His Father ‘Be fruitfull and multiply’ in the way appropriate to His heavenly origin and purpose.

Jesus could have been asexual,i.e., no sexual interest in either sex. I know people like this, and they are normal in all other respects. I don’t think its considered a disorder…

Have you ever read about the great thinkers like Da Vinci and the virgin saints? They all had sexual desire but focused it toward creativity in Da Vinci’s case and toward doing works for God in the virgin saints’ case. Similarly, Jesus, being both true man and truly divine, focused his sexual energy toward accomplishing the will of God, not in lustfully satisfying his desires.

I suppose it is impossible for us to know. I think when Jesus was talking about certain persons who chose to be eunuchs for the sake of the Kingdom, he was speaking of Himself. He could have taken a wife and had kids, but that was not part of his plan of salvation. If He experienced attraction, he handled it the way any person called to celibacy would do, and consecrated his whole sexuality to God.
What you should be worried about is your salvation.
It seems to be shallow.

I think that word is applicable to Jesus since He is able to reproduce His kind.

Remember that human nature in its fallen state, after original sin, is disordered in its desires. This is called concupiscience. Jesus had no original or actual sin, and his natural desires were all perfectly integrated–that is, perfectly subordinated to his human will, and in accord with natural and divine law.

Did Jesus like any girls? I often wonder that. Some Gnostics say that Jesus had relations with Mary Magdalene, but I don’t believe it. However, it is hard to believe that Jesus lived for over 30 years without having any romantic attraction to girls–unless he was born without an heterosexual drive.

I also often find it amazing how Jesus as an human being never sexually gratified himself (since sexual self-gratification is a sin, and Jesus was sinless). It’s probably one of his most impressive yet upspoken of miracles (for obvious reasons).

Has anyone ever thought about these aspects of Jesus?
I’m just having difficulty understanding how Jesus was 100% man and couldn’t have had any struggles with lustful temptations. If Jesus had sexual temptations, where do we see them in the Bible? We see them with many of the Old Testament figures, so why not Jesus???
100% man is not one who is a sinner but one who is sinless. Sin makes us less man. Temptations we know that Jesus had them, the fact that he conquered them shows us actually the fullness of his humanity. His humanity was never damaged. The same for his mother.

You know your stuff!

Same as Adam & Eve before the fall.

Lust is INORDINATE sexual desire. Jesus traditionally had no lust, but that wouldn’t mean he didn’t have sexual desire.

He was in perfect control of his body. His body did not fight his reason. So he did not have lustful temptations. He did not suffer from concupiscence.
