Theres allot of symbolism that goes in with the crucifixion account but if the Jews had not rejected Christ and he had lived to die a natural death would we still be saved by him dying a sinless man and then ressurect to prove his divinity?

I believe he had to be killed to save us. That is why they say he died for us. By that same account, if you think too much about it, you will see that therefore someone had to betray him - Judas. Does this mean that Judas was supposed to do this? If so, how can it be held against him? Don’t get me wrong, I am not supporting Judas, it’s just confusing 🤷

The one true God does not require the slaughter, massacre, butchery and pain of one man to give salvation to humanity.

God wanting Jesus to suffer and bleed and feel pain so that people not connected to jesus can be forgiven for there sins dosent even make sense and as a believe in God I am even slightly offended that someone would suggest that God is that cruel…

You answer for your own sins, let me clarify that for everyone…

Its your life, you have free will and no one but yourself can answer for your sins.

If you believe someone else has to suffer so that you can commit sins and face no consequence you will be very disappointed on the day of judgement

Really, so you believe instead that you must kill in the name of God? Because that is what your Koran teaches.
And because you are not a Catholic, nor a Christian, therefore I wouldn’t expect you to understand the nature of Jesus Christ and his dying for me AND for YOU.

Mate, I answer for my own sins. I committed them. Only I can repent and atone for them…

Its not about understanding, there is nothing to understand, your accusing God of wanting some sort of Blood sacrifice so he can forgive YOU for e.g fornicating…

I mean that dosent even make sense, God does not require blood sacrifice, he does not want pain in order to forgive.

Let me tell you now, your sins are on your own head, God accepts repentance, repent…

Jesus is not dead and he will return, trust me if you actually believe that he was crucified, do you really think the last thing he wants to see is another crucifix,

To be ignorant of Scripture is ignorant of Christ. Read the New Testament before you comment anymore.

Some things are inevitable

Yesterday I saw the movie Passion of Christ from Mel Gibson

It says in the bible and also in that movie that the wife of Pilate had a dream : She said to Him, He is a saint, don’t judge Him

Nobody knows how many times Jesus had a conversation with Judas trying to dismiss him from doing what he pretended to do. But I think Jesus had that conversation in private with him, without success, nobody knows

There is many Judas in this world, Jesus was betrayed by Judas, and by many man in the history. Is not only Judas guilty

Jesus would die anyway, all other prophets were killed, if it wasn’t by the cross it would be by another way.

God knew it in advance the type of death that He should perish

I agree with Righteousone 😃 You need to maybe read the NT. You really have no concept of Christianity. No where does it say Chrsitans believe they can do whatever the heck they want and face no consequence. I suggest you take some time to read the boards here. You will see the the RCC is very strict and requires repentance (confession) at least once a year. We will not be disappointed. On the contrary, while I agree there are good muslims, hindu’s, budists, you name it, Jesus said himself no one comes to the Father but through HIM - it seems as though non-christians are the “doomed” ones. Of course I can’t say for sure as I am not Jesus obviously but this is what our Bible says and we believe it for the same reason you believe yours.

Jesus was a sacrifice for our sins, without which there would be no Salvation. He had to die on the cross, he could have chosen not to, but he chose it for us. God did not make him do anything, Jesus had freewill just like we do.

I mean that dosent even make sense, God does not require blood sacrifice, he does not want pain in order to forgive.

Nevertheless, your beloved Mohammad asked his followers (Muslims) to fight and die for him. According to the Koran, those who refused to war were rebuked by Mohammad and cursed by Allah.

In Christianity Jesus is called the Lamb of God and is believed to have given His life as a ransom for those believing in His name.
In Islam, however, Allah prevents Jesus’ crucifixion but makes Him appear to have been crucified and killed only to deceive and humiliate Jews.

In other words, Islam offers Jesus’ appearance as a sacrifice for Allah’s political tricks and aversion to Jews. Again, in Christianity Jesus’ crucifixion and death are necessary and indicate God’s love for mankind whereas in Islam the illusion of Jesus’ crucifixion and death are necessary and indicate Allah’s hatred to Jews.

I have read the new testament and old testament…

And you people are still declaring God demanded jesus be a Blood Sacrifice for humanities sins.

No one else can suffer for your sins, you answer for your own life, your own sins, your own crimes and your own good deeds.

NO ONE else can answer for you, we are not talking about kangaroo courts where injustice can occur, GOD knows your sins, he knows your crimes.

If you committed sins YOU need to pray, YOU need to repent, YOU need to seek salvation and lead a good moral life,

Believing that the slaughter of one man 2000 years ago means that you are forgiven because you believe that man was a God, is insulting to any true believe in the one true God,

**There was no political tricks in relation to jesus.

You people claim Jesus was butchered so Humans could be forgiven by God (otherwise strangely God cannot forgive humanity)he was then resurrected and then taken again**

Muslim belief is simple, Jesus is neither below nor above any other prophet of God.

From Adam, to Noah to Moses to Mohammed, these were the messengers of God through out time who were tasked to brings Gods message to humanity to test the believers from the disbelievers,

They bought the SAME message it was ONY humanity itself which corrupted the messages for there own beliefs, states, power struggles.

Jesus was never crucified, he was never killed, GOD does not require blood or pain or butchery of one man to forgive us, he is the MOST GRACIOUS MOST MERCIFULL.

We seek salvation in the One true God.

If you take partners with God (ie Jesus), if you believe if he has sons, if you believe God needs blood sacrifices to forgive you then you have transgressed and will face judgment on judgement day.

Remember this, You answer for your own sins, repent and seek salvation in the one true God, dont pray to middle men, NO prophet can hear you ONLY God can

Well look then who’s calling the kettle black…your God is a God who says kill in my name. Anyone converts to another will die.

Give me a break…read the NT my friend and remember, Mohammed didn’t die for our/your sins, only Jesus died for our/your sins.

These statements indicate how you fail to understand basic Christian tenets. We do not believe that Jesus’ death will make us exempt from praying or leading a pious life or doing works of charity. More, you deliberately ignore the Christian faith in Jesus’ divinity when you reiterate that only God can forgive sins. Jesus is our owner and boss that gave up His life for us as a ransom and set us free from slavery to sin and death, which had entered the world through Adam and Eve.
Believing that the slaughter of one man 2000 years ago means that you are forgiven because you believe that man was a God, is insulting to any true believe in the one true God,
Believing that Allah deceived His elected people through a miracle of illusion and needed that deceptive miracle to save his prophet from the cross is insulting to any true believer in the one true God. 😃
You people claim Jesus was butchered so Humans could be forgiven by God (otherwise strangely God cannot forgive humanity)he was then resurrected and then taken again
We also believe the redemption is only in JESUS and through faith in HIS NAME. What you have been doing so far is to relegate our faith in Jesus’ saving power to the notion of sacrifice. Try reading John 3:14 to see how Jesus likens the type of His death and its necessity to the bronze serpent in Moses’ time.
Muslim belief is simple, Jesus is neither below nor above any other prophet of God.
It is somehow crucial for you to make Jesus the Christ a mere messenger, which is your groundwork for soliciting faith in Mohammad’s prophetic ministry and his religion.

Believing that all messengers of God brought the same message but could establish the truth on earth only temporarily is an insult to true believers in God because it implies that all those messengers, save Mohammad, somehow failed and turned into bunglers. Believing that only Mohammad’s message were preserved from errors and perversion is also contradictory because this makes Mohammad different from all the former messengers and makes him even superior to Allah, who needs Mohammad to reveal his one and same message. Actually, it was only Mohammad and his scribes that distorted the Bible while inventing a new mundane religion and ideology.
Jesus was never crucified, he was never killed, GOD does not require blood or pain or butchery of one man to forgive us, he is the MOST GRACIOUS MOST MERCIFULL.

We seek salvation in the One true God.
GOD requires a deceptive miracle to save his messenger from Jews? GOD requires all humans to distort his former revelations to send his final messenger Mohammad?

Keep seeking! We have already FOUND salvation in the One true God. 😃
If you take partners with God (ie Jesus), if you believe if he has sons, if you believe God needs blood sacrifices to forgive you then you have transgressed and will face judgment on judgement day.
If you deny the Prince of Life (Jesus the Lord), if you prefer an erroneous message delievered by a heretic to the divine message in Christ’s Gospel, if you deny the salvation in Jesus’ name, if you keep believing that Allah kept sending messengers with the same message because He failed to preserve His truth and make His word permanent, then you have transgressed and will face judgment on the day of judgment when Christ appears on the clouds. 😉

Jesus could not have died a natural death. Death is a consequence of being born with original sin, which Jesus didn’t have. Jesus could only have been killed by a willful act of murder.
You answer for your own sins, let me clarify that for everyone…
It is impossible to answer for your own sins. Each sin is an infinite evil, and humans are only capable of finite good.

Anyway, it’s a common Catholic saying that one drop of Jesus’ blood would have been enough to redeem all of humanity. So, why did he give all he had? The answer is less tricky that you might think: because he had so much to give. Jesus loves us, and in allowing himself to be crucified, he bestows such eternal and infinite value as to make us worthy of God’s love as his children.

Here’s how I’ve come to understand it: even after the fall, humanity didn’t really need to be “saved.” God could have just chosen to ignore Adam and Eve’s sin. “Oh, you ate the fruit? Well, are you sorry? Yes? Ok, back to eden you go.” But were he to do that, he would destroy the very point and purpose of humanity. God made us from nothing, and to a certain extent, that’s what we are: tiny motes of crystallized nothingness worth nothing to nobody. Humans aren’t meant to be crystals, though, but scions of God’s love, to be God’s children, to be gods ourselves (lower case “g,” of course). Humans are meant to be shining suns, glowing with God’s love, to be creatures that God can love and that love God back (because love unrequited is subtly wrong somehow).

So, our actions have to have consequences. When a human does something good, it is meant to be momentous, but this also means that our evil actions need to have equal weight. So, if a human sins, it must damn him to hell. If you kill someone, you have done something so terrible that as a consequence you earn eternal torture. Lesser sins don’t deserve less, either. Spitting on a church as a joke, saying an unkind word to a friend, even the sexual sins (which are sins of weakness rather than cruelty), all of them make you deserve constant unending torture. Were this not so, our good actions would be utterly meaningless and humanity’s reason for being would be unmade. And since everyone (except Mary) has sinned, we all deserve the hell of old Baptist sermons, and worse.

But God doesn’t want that. Our sins have to have consequence, but he doesn’t want that consequence to be eternal death, so something else has to act as a stand-in consequence. We have to lose something instead of our souls, but we don’t have anything of commensurate worth, and no amount of good actions (which are finite) can overcome the never ending tide of sin.

Enter Jesus. By becoming man, he can suffer, and since he is God, his suffering is infinitely meritorious. Thus, sin still has consequence and man is still capable of becoming a worthy container of God’s love, but he has pulled a bait-and-switch with the consequence: sin now causes the crucification and death of Jesus rather than our eternal damnation. You have to chose to allow Jesus to take your sins to the grave and leave them there, but it is still wrong to refuse his offer since his offer is an act of pure, infinite love, what C.S. Lewis calls charity, and the refusal of love is itself a sin when the love is correct (and when it’s from God, it is always correct).

Jesus is what gives us the hope of Heaven. You still have to take that hope and run with it, but without Jesus’ death, there would be no hope of life.

Muslim belief is simple, Jesus is neither below nor above any other prophet of God.
It is not possible for Jesus to be just a good prophet because He claimed himself to be God. This either makes Him a liar, a crazy man, or what he claims to be. See C.S. Lewis’ ‘Lord, Liar, Lunatic’ argument in Mere Christianity for more details on this argument.

Islam’s perception of Jesus is not one that that is even possible given the historically verifiable statements that He made.

The one true God does not require the slaughter, massacre, butchery and pain of one man to give salvation to humanity.

How very terribly confused you are to place the blame for barbarous, inhumane behavior as seen in the crucifixtion on the “beliefs” of Christianity, and on what “God wanted” rather than on the sinful hearts of men.

If Christianity testifies that men crucified Jesus, then the first question that should be asked is WHY? If Jesus were innocent, and Jesus were God, then why would men reject the light of God? The answer to that question is answered in the gospels, and the answer is that men crucified Jesus because he revealed the wickedness of their hearts.

The net result of redemption (the concept of which you are criticizing) occurs after the ultimate cause of the crucifixtion, which was the murderous hearst of men. Therefore, simply because redemption occurred after men murdered God Incarnate does not an anyway implicate God or Christianity for being bloodthirsty. That accusation completely confuses the Christian testimony of what occurred historically.

And you people are still declaring God demanded jesus be a Blood Sacrifice for humanities sins.

Okay, Here I go, lol…God did not demand this of Jesus. JESUS CHOSE THIS FOR HIMSELF.

No one else can suffer for your sins, you answer for your own life, your own sins, your own crimes and your own good deeds.

Who said you don’t. AGAIN just because you believe does not mean you can do whatever you want - you still must repent and ask for forgiveness.

If you committed sins YOU need to pray, YOU need to repent, YOU need to seek salvation and lead a good moral life,

Christians do this, where do you get that we don’t?
Believing that the slaughter of one man 2000 years ago means that you are forgiven because you believe that man was a God, is insulting to any true believe in the one true God.

Your mistake is that you believe your God to be true. We believe ours to be true. Actually in case you haven’t heard there is 3 in one God - this is called the Trinity - Father Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus was more than a “man” as you put it, he IS GOD.

You people claim Jesus was butchered so Humans could be forgiven by God (otherwise strangely God cannot forgive humanity)he was then resurrected and then taken again
Nobody “took” Jesus - he is God. He rose by Himself.

Muslim belief is simple, Jesus is neither below nor above any other prophet of God.

Okay, here is the thing. Jesus = NO PROPHET. He is LORD.

From Adam, to Noah to Moses to Mohammed, these were the messengers of God through out time who were tasked to brings Gods message to humanity to test the believers from the disbelievers,

This may be so, but Jesus came to bring the*** truth.***

Jesus was never crucified, he was never killed, GOD does not require blood or pain or butchery of one man to forgive us, he is the MOST GRACIOUS MOST MERCIFULL.

Jesus certainly was crucified - you can verify this in History even if you don’t believe he was God. HE GAVE UP HIS OWN LIFE hoping you one day would know him as the way.

If your god is so mercifull, then why are Muslims told to kill those who don’t believe the same as them? That is conflicting with the message you say god sends

We seek salvation in the One true God.

We seek it through his son Jesus Christ who without accepting him and the GIFT he gave for you, unbelievers are doomed to Hell.

If you take partners with God (ie Jesus), if you believe if he has sons, if you believe God needs blood sacrifices to forgive you then you have transgressed and will face judgment on judgement day.

We do not believe God has sonS - he has only one Son. Unfortunately it seems as if you may face a judgement for not accepting Jesus into your heart. This is the Christian message after all. Jesus said it best that the only way to Heaven is through him.

Remember this, You answer for your own sins, repent and seek salvation in the one true God, dont pray to middle men, NO prophet can hear you ONLY God can

Again, JESUS IS NOT A PROPHET.

Jesus did not have to die. Jesus accepted it. No one can take His life from Him, He gives it.

His death was not only meant for salvation. His death proved who He is.
