Hi

I think there are person in the world who claim they are from Jesus lineage; and that is sufficient for me. If Jesus or Catholics said he was from the line of David; I won’t doubt that. Why should I?

It is a normal thing for a human being to get married, if one has the vigour, and children also. If Jesus was a normal person, as some Catholics have admitted here; then I think the onus of proving that Jesus got married and had children like a normal person is on the Catholics? Please

Kindly, therefore, submit your proofs that Jesus did marry and had children also.

Please don’t mind we are just understanding the truth in the things.

I love Jesus and Mary as I do love Buddha and Krishna.

Thanks
So, after having so many discussion, your definition of normal man is marriage? You told us you read the bible from cover to cover, but missed Matthew 19:12. What is the importance of marriage in your society? to have sex?

**Dear block, it is difficult to discuss bibleNT. There have been Catholics here who have told us that Jesus never had a bible and did not leave any bible and did not give us any bible. The bible is the later creation of the church.

While we Muslims do believe that Jesus was given the book (bible, called Injeel) from God. That was his teachings which he left though may not be in the form a book then. His followers later compiled his works and prepared the book. No harm. That is good enough for all of us. We believe in that bible (injeel). And we are looking for that bible.

But look at the bibleNT. It is full of non_Jesus stuff. There is more from Paul and others in the bibleNT than there is from Jesus. Jesus is teaching and preaching only in the four gosels (Could be considered as One Gospel only). There are very few words from Jesus in the 4 gospels. But that is the end of Jesus after the incident of the cross and good-bye to him very soon at the age of 33.

Later, people manipulated (added and subtracted) in the works of Jesus. We only object to that work by unauthorised persons. That cannot be religion. That is not from Jesus. He had come to tend to the sheep of Israel, specially the “Lost sheep of Israel”.

There were only two sheep in palestine. Where were the other 10 sheep? Jesus knew about them. he said that he knew about his sheep and that it was necessary for him to go to those sheep too.

So the discussion continues.**
Well my friend, it seems that you may have an unfair advantage seeing as how it seems you are both familar with the catholic bible, and whatever it is that you are reading to find your information. And I agree that the bible was not given to Jesus, was not written by Jesus and was not created by Jesus while He was here. But my faith revolves around that bible, and being catholic I believe 100% that the bible was influenced by the Holy Spirit. So if I believe that the bible is all I need, it is all that the Holy Father gave to me besides when he speaks to me spiritually, how then can it be disputed by anybody? I won’t go into details about what was written, but as long as I know that you need more, and you know that I do not, then there is no point for the discussion to continue correct? But, I do hope that you and all others will find what you are looking for, and I will be praying for you, God Bless.

Hi

My religion does not prohibit me from research; rather it exhorts one to do it and accept the truth, and this is exactly what I am doing. I am always open to research and asking God Allah for guidance, and he provides it to me. Thank God Allah.

I love Jesus and Mary.

Thanks
Read the bible for your answers. No, He did not have children.

and yes your religion does indeed have problems when you ask questions of it! Many muslims, and dhimmi, have died because they questioned islam.

**We are truly in a unique time period where we will not be murdered for questioning islam and bringing to light this ‘religion’. Yes, the muslims try to work on shutting us up with lawsuits, censorship (via the UN this year), etc, but it is not working. **

Muhammad said: “Allah has hated you for asking too many questions.”

“The Prophet then got angry and his cheeks and face became red.”

Bukhari’s Hadith
Islam
“O ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which if made plain to you, may cause you trouble. Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith.” (Surah 5:101-102).
“The Holy Prophet himself forbade people to ask questions …so do not try to probe into such things.” (The Meaning of the Qur’an, Maududi, vol. III, pgs. 76-77)
"The prophet was asked about things which he did not like, and when the questioner insisted, the Prophet got angry. (vol. 1, no. 92) The Prophet got angry and his cheeks or his face became red. (vol. 1, no. 91) “Allah has hated you…[for] asking too many questions.” (vol. 2, no. 555; and vol. 3, no. 591, Bukhari’s Hadith commenting on Muhammad’s reaction to hostile questioners.)
Islam is an information control cult!
Although in the Westerm world, Islam cannot enable their information control as they do in Muslim controlled countries, there is still significant misinformation that Muslims believe about the Bible and Christianity. As you can see from the three quotes above, Muslims are forbidden to question Islamic faith, and are expected to accept its truthfulness blindly without investigation. Muhammad understood that information was the main enemy of his newly invented religion. In many Muslim controlled nations, for example, young men are paid to learn NOTHING but the Koran to the exclusion of science and history and current world events. They are told this is all they need, but in reality they are brainwashed and basic world information is deliberately withheld from them.

. But my faith revolves around that bible, and being catholic I believe 100% that the bible was influenced by the Holy Spirit.
First the same Holy Spirit “inspired” different and contradictory things to so the called writers of Mark, Matthew, Luke, and John.

Second, the bible in which you have “100% inspired belief”, tells you that there were many more things Jesus did, are not mentioned by one of the so called writers of it , therefore not known to you, let alone other people who do not have any belief in your book or never heard of it. Why cannot one of those ‘not known things to even you’ would be Jesus getting married prior to his ministry?

Third, your Bible is not like a book of Science or accurate/believeable history either, therefore, not taught in the schools nor acceptable for secular school curriculam, like how we all learn physics, mathematics, Algebra etc. without any objections.

So Observer, does your Islamic literature mention Jesus’ marriage and siblings? because as far as i know, you are waiting for Him to come back and get married since He didn’t do it the first time.

Please remember that ‘Jesus according to Islam or Muslims or in Islamic literature’, is not the topic of this thread.

and please remember that the OP is Muslim.
For you kind information, OP is an Ahmadi, therefore, not a Muslim.

Ahmedis’ founder did not permit his people (ummah) to marry non-Ahmadis, therefore, again, they are not Muslims.

Besides, you should limit your “proofs” with your own Catholic theologial books/history in which your brain/thinking is ‘programmed’ since your childhood.

Why you do you need an external non-Catholic Islamic perspective to prove your case/theory?

Obsever, did you ask yourself why i knew you are Muslim from your first post?

Anyway i think you will soon be banned for violating the forum rules so i will not waste my time , sorry. As to me asking about your belief, that’s because it is extremely ironic that you love to criticize anything Christian even if contradicts your own teachings.👋

I find it strange how Muslims claim Ahmadi’s are not Muslim, yet jump to their defence when Islam is put under scrutiny by non-Muslims. When is a Muslim a Muslim and when is a Muslim not a Muslim? 🤷

Your wish to ban me to avoid a reasonable discussion, shows how weak is your faith in your Catholicism.

inJESUS cannot ban you but the Moderators can if you keep up with your antics and disobey forum rules.

Even if they don’t ban you, don’t think you’re the only sharp-tongued individual here. Play nice if you want us to be nice.

If Jesus Christ is the Moderator of this forum, then I am sure he would ban inJESUS rightaway, as he/she is voilating what Jesus Christ stands for/teaches/practiced.

Observer, you might be banned because you were already banned like 10 times before. It has nothing to do with me.

How do you prove something when it isn’t there? The only way I can do it is by telling them to read the Bible - New Testament most specifically.

How can anyone who claims they are peaceful follow such a guy as mohammed? I know about the group that you speak of, but even they need to start learning what kind of a fellow they follow.
In Medina Mohammed attacked, robbed and exiled the first two Jewish tribes. The third tribe was enslaved, sold for profit to be used for jihad and the 800 male members were executed (my comment: the men, and boys ‘with hair’ were beheaded and their women and children were enslaved) in one day. Before that Mohammed had two different Jews assassinated for speaking against him. After every Jew was gone in Medina, Mohammed went 100 miles out his way to attack the Jews of Khaybar. They had done nothing to Mohammed. (Does this remind you of the Jews in Mumbai?)
After he had crushed them, he tortured the Jewish leader to death (does this remind you of Mumbai?), took their land and made the Jews Islam’s first dhimmis. Dhimmis had no civil rights and had to pay a tax of half of all their income to Islam. Then on his deathbed, Mohammed banished the Jews from Arabia. His annihilation of the Jews in Arabia was 100%, better than Hitler
.
there is more atrocities that mohammed did - that was just a little bit of it.

From an article titled ‘Refuting Counterterrorism Dhimmi’

For naming yourself ‘observer’ you certainly don’t ‘observe’! Maybe ‘judgemental’ might be a more appropriate name next time.

Jesus didn’t tell us to be stupid, lay back and accept the lies of false prophets. To let them subjugate us so our children are condemned to such a thing as islam. I don’t recall that message anywhere! And it is not a sin to question islam and its adherents as to why or how they could follow such a guy as mohammed. Nope - I just went over the 10 commandments in my head and nowhere does it say that in them. But, it reminded me that mohammed broke most of them and that is why he had to redefine sin.

I think you are not just an ‘observer’, but a muslim who is using the same, old excuses such as ‘you are not acting like a Christian’ as a ploy that is commonly used. That is only one of many ploys I have seen used.

This thread is about whether Jesus was a married person and had children based on Catholic theology/view.

You are talking about totally different issues which calls for so many threads to clarify your misunderstandings.

** inJesus, the Jesus who is promised for the Muslims by the prophet Muhammad is not any Jewish Masiha. He is the Muslim Masiha, i.e. a follower of Muhammad. he will be a copy of the old Masiha of the Jews ( i.e. Jesus). but he will not be Jesus son of Mary. He must belong to the Ummah of Muhammad.

It is said in the Hadith that he will marry and have children. The Hadith (and Quran) did not say that old Jesus did not marry or did not have children. When it is said that the promised Masiha of the Muslims will marry and have children, it means the old Masiha also married and had children.

That is believable because the Catholics say that Jesus was 100% man. Then he must have married and must have had children. Otherwise he cannot be called 100% man. Please understand. The only thing is that the christians and the Muslims neglected this side of the story of Jesus who went in search of the lost sheep of Israel.**

Ok, this is the 3rd time I am writing this - No, He had no children and He wasn’t married. You have to read the Bible to prove that He was married and had kids, and I see no evidence except some second/third party assertions that He did. Basically, it is the same sort of thing the lefties do when they bash Christianity on TV, in the schools, etc. They go by stuff that don’t even apply to Christianity, or some fables they have in their own heads.

I think you guys have watched too much TV and let others do your thinking for you instead of you reading the Scriptures yourselves.

Prove your points with passages from the Bible.
