I wonder if anyone of you might guess the true teaching of Jesus. To my understanding, Jesus might have observed the practice of Judaism because he was a Jew.
During his earthly lifetime Jesus practiced Judaism because that was the true religion in practice at the time. But his mission was to establish the Church (cf. Matt. 16:18). Once that was accomplished at Pentecost with the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles
(cf. Acts 1:8, 2:1-4), his followers were expected to follow the teachings of the Church – in other words, Christianity.
