Did Jesus receive himself at the Last Supper?

Did Jesus eat his own body and drink his own blood during the Last Supper?
 
We don’t know. Scripture does not explicitly say. It does hint though that Jesus did not partake in the Eucharist he gave to his apostles. After consecrating the bread and wine and telling the apostles to eat and drink his body and blood, Matthew records Christ as saying:
I tell you I shall not drink again of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom (Matt. 26:29).
