Hi,
There is a “seeker” who attends my church and discusses the Catholic faith with me. He says he finds it hard to accept the divinity of Christ because He never said He was God. So far I have tried arguing John 20:28-29, but he is not convinced, he thinks there may be translation errors. Does the original text have the same meaning as the English translation? And are there any other places where Jesus explicitly admits to being God?
