Dear Apologists:
Did Our Lord shed His blood for us the first time at the Last Supper and for the second time on the Cross, or did He shed His blood only on the Cross?

Dear Fiat,

Jesus shed His blood on the cross only on Good Friday. He did not die twice. His death transcends time in that it redeemed those who lived before the event and also those who lived after it. On the night before, He anticipated the reality of His Passion with the Eucharist at the Last Supper.
