Hi

JesusYeshuaIssa **did not leave the Word of God **or anything **in writing **revealed on him from GodAllahYHWH in the form of stone tablets as was in the case of Moses, or **anything written by JesusYeshuaIssa himself as a biography **when he left from Galilee, after the incident of Crucifixion, alongwith his mother Mary in search of the lost ten tribes of the house of Israel, he died natural and peaceful death in Kashmir, India.

Jesus left nothing behind authenticated by him, in possession of the Church, as there was none in existence.

We do respect the NTGospels which have account of Jesus life, but it does not have much **utility for a non-Catholic **except that we may treat it as a book of history subject to scrutiny, internal as well as external, for each event for finding truth in it on merit.

Incidentally, Jesus also **could not construct or build any church **in his own life time of say some 30 years.

Before the event of crucifixion, from which I believe that he was delivered in near dead position, he definitely could not construct any church, as we find in the gospels that he used to go to synagogues for worship, as he himself was a Jew and he had no intention to ascribe to any new name.

From the **event of Crucifixion to the time he bid farewell **from Galilee with his Mother Mary to some unknown destination, there was not much period to construct a church and moreover due to the persecution by Jews it was impossible to do it.

So, I think he **did not leave any church behind **also.

Moreover, this word ‘church’ does not seem to be of Hebrew or Aramaic origin which Jesus, Mary and his disciples spoke, so it is a remote chance that he ever built a church.

Thanks

Thanks for spamming more stuff about your own beliefs - dressed up as a debate!

This is why i call him the energizer bunny, he just keeps going and going and going and going…
I’m waiting in vain for answers to dozens of posts, including most recently on who wrote the Koran.

good luck!
You know how much they love to try and find faults with other religions and never answer the faults of their own religion!!

I’ve never heard any other poster in any of the forums spout so much rubbish as you do!!

Dear Paarsurrey

Even a bad question deserves an answer.

Let Pophead give it a wheel.

I agree Jesus did not write the Bible in the sense that he sat down and dictated it to a scribe. However, God has always been speaking to mankind and I am sure there are some wonderfully insightful passages in your Koran. (Maybe you can share a few?)

That is the first I have ever heard that Jesus died in Kashmir, India. Please will you suport your idea with actual historical verification.

Of course, I will find it hard for you to accept but Jesus most certainly did leave us His Spirit to lead and guide us into all truth. The comforter, who is the Spirit of God.

I think you will find that the NT book we call the Gospel of John is accepted by your religion. Wisdom, or true truth, is always something that we need not push away, right ?

I agree Jesus did not build a physical church, but he preached in the Synagogue and I agree the Christians did get a little bit carried away building so many domes. After all it was Jesus who said that one day the real issue will be worshipping God in spirit and truth, worship not subject to any geographical location.

I am guessing here but I think you have quite a lot of sourse material mixed together. It is really important to show respect for historical records and other peoples religious choices as I do for you and yours. Tolerance and respect are keystones, that I see you uphold in your signature…right?

Now before you flame war again, just think about your religion and whether it is right or wrong to attack the beliefs of others with so much determination, and not first find out about what they believe and why. okay ?

Why don’t you open up a thread discussing what you believe and why, and then let people share their beliefs with you. It is not going to be easy, for this forum is predominantly RCC. Perhaps a forum which is more open to ALL religions would work better for you.

Try peace,
Pophead.

I have mentioned to you before that you really should define before you post.

What is meant by Church is not a building so all of your statements are not only meaningless but to put it bluntly stupid.
The faithful of the whole world. This broad definition can be understood in various senses all derived from the Scriptures, notably as the community of believers, the kingdom of God, and the Mystical Body of Christ.
As the community of believers, the Church is the assembly (ekklesia) of all who believe in Jesus Christ; or the fellowship (koinonia) of all who are bound together by their common love for the Savior. As the kingdom (basileia), it is the fulfillment of the ancient prophecies about the reign of the Messiah. And as the Mystical Body it is the communion of all those made holy by the grace of Christ. He is their invisible head and they are his visible members. These include the faithful on earth, those in purgatory
who are not yet fully purified, and the saints in heaven.
Jesus clearly states that He intended to build a Church
Matthew 16:18
And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church

Hi

JesusYeshuaIssa **did not leave the Word of God **or anything **in writing **revealed on him from GodAllahYHWH in the form of stone tablets as was in the case of Moses, or **anything written by JesusYeshuaIssa himself as a biography **…
That’s because all the books in the world could not contain the truth of Jesus (see John 21:25)
… We do respect the NTGospels which have account of Jesus life, but it does not have much utility for a non-Catholic except that we may treat it as a book of history subject to scrutiny, internal as well as external, for each event for finding truth in it on merit.
True. That’s why He founded His Church.
… Incidentally, Jesus also **could not construct or build any church **in his own life time of say some 30 years…
Yes, you’re absolutely right.

That’s why He sent us the Holy Spirit.
Moreover, this word ‘church’ does not seem to be of Hebrew or Aramaic origin which Jesus, Mary and his disciples spoke, so it is a remote chance that he ever built a church.
He certainly didn’t build anything in a physical sense. But in a spiritual sense, He did something that an Ahmadi could never dream of doing.

Everything else in your post is borderline-stupid and doesn’t deserve a response.

Dear Paarsurrey,

I hope you have heard of the Injil (or the revelation by God to Isa) ?
Although parts of the Injil are believed to have been corrupted over time, the original Injil was, nonetheless, a revelation from God to Isa in the eyes of Muslims. It is therefore treated as such, and belief in it is necessary, as is prescribed by one of the six Islamic articles of faith. Nevertheless, from the books sent by God (kutub), only the Qu’ran does not suffer from tahrif, i.e. is considered flawless (in contrast to Tawrat, Zabur, Injil) and existing (in contrast to the Suhuf-i-Ibrahim) according to the Muslims and therefore only the Qu’ran is an authoritative source for Islam. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Injil
Do you agree with this ?

If you reject the Christian Bible and the Christian Church, I understand why. I also rejected them, but for different reasons. The Bible to me was sort of like a really long fairy tale about someone who for me, just did not exist. The Christian Church was therefore made up of simpletons and idiots who chose to believe in what did not exist.

I was a child back then, and had no idea that the Bible is the most verified historical document in the world. That’s right, it has literally thousands of manuscripts to verify it. If you asked for that information, I am sure the Seniors here would oblige you with this. It is also archeologically verified, over and over again. The places mentioned in it’s contents exist, and the presense of many insignificant details that have been verified is strong reason to believe in it’s accuracy.

I do think that you owe it to yourself to first explore these aspects carefully. I am a student of religion and enjoy the exploring the beliefs of others, but that does require one to have an open mind and be willing to put one’s prejudices behind you.

I look forward to your comments. (though you seem to be a little shy?)

I haven’t been here for a while, and what a welcome back!

paarsurrey you have cracked me up :rotfl:

All you are thinking of is a physical building

And a book

All material items

Why did Jesus need to leave behind materialistic stuff??

He was here in person talking with people, that is the legacy He left behind

Hi
In 2nd Corinthians 3:3 It says;
“For as much as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.”
In regards the Church, it is Christ who builds His Church. In Matthew 16:18 He says “I will build my Church” He builds up His Church with “living stones”(1st Peter 2:5), that is we the members are described as ‘living stones’.So Christ will build up His Church to the end of times each new member a living stone.
We see the first members of the Church , the twelve Apostles described in Rev 21:14 as foundations stones in a wall.

The word Church is an English translation of the Greek word “ekklesia” which originally meant an assembly of the people convened at the public place of the council for the purpose of deliberating. In the Christian sense it means the whole body of Christians scattered throughout the earth.
In the Hebrew the word is “qahal” which means, “congregation, assembly.”

…if Jesus had wanted to leave some writings behind He would have invented the printing press but instead He left a magic chair…and whomever sits in that Chair speaks for Him under certain circumstances…that Chair is in Rome and the Bishop of Rome sits on that throne. By having a living breathing replica of Himself the Church He left behind was and has been able to change with the times in certain small things but not in any really important ones…ie Doctrine! Jesus warned He was not of this world, and His kingdom is not also…so that His followers must be aware to this fact and expect to be browbeaten, insulted, lampooned and generally crucified time and again…for His sake…witness the constant barrage of mean spirited books and flicks produced by the controlling elite…Vinci code nonsense etc…all the best…Nino

Hi all,

First of all, paarsurrey, the Original Poster (OP) should not be castigated or have his/her writings called stupid; that isn’t very charitable. Even though the OP is misinformed and clearly does not understand Christianity, there is no reason to not be kind.

That being said, you all may be interested in a book titled:
The Fight for Jeruslaem by Dore Gold. I have recently become aware of the constant deliberate denial of history of Judaism and Jewish (and also Christian) places and practices by Muslims throughout its history. Priceless artifacts have been destroyed, not only of Jewish and Christian history (such as the space under the Temple Mount) -do you remember the huge Buddah statues that were blown up in 2001 by the Taliban? And even in Great Britain, they have cow-towed to Muslim pressure to partake in Holocaust Denial! The fact that there is so much documentation to attest to the Holocaust of WWII just makes this crazy.

Rewriting history is what the Communists did in Russia and I don’t know if they’ll ever get the textbooks straight up on that.🤷

Added to the seeming trend of (some) Americans to be contentedly ignorant of history and apathetic about religion, forums such as this are necessary just to get educated.

God bless,
Mimi

Buddah statues that were blown up in 2001 by the Taliban?
Hi

I was shocked, and I am still shocked when I saw on TV Buddha’s statue being blown up into pieces, like I am shocked when I see the civilized Americans throwing Atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Why did they do it?
and
Why did they do it?

Why, why, why, why - - - - - - ?

Oh no, I’m laughing again… and I know I shouldn’t.

Hey Mimi, maybe you help me respond to the above post.
