Did liturgical optionitis and degraded liturgy lead to dissent about morality?

One hesitates to use the phrase “led to,” but the two are closely related.
 
Spot on thesis by Mr. Verrecchio, and I am a fan of Fr. Zuhlsdorf. One cannot strip the Sacred from the Mass and not expect the results which we now have. Many on this board have argued that the excesses we have seen were a result of the times. I argue that the times are a result of a loss of the Sacredness of the Mass! As Fr. Zuhlsdorf says “Save the Liturgy, Save the World”.
 
The architecture, the music, the reverence toward the words and rubrics, the faith in the presence of our Lord in the Eucharist, the faith in the presence of our Lord in the Hierarchy etc all are boards in the bottom of the ship. One is broken the ship is sunk.

In the reality the primary was the bad influence of the media and modern life over the sacred (set aside to God) things. Everything else is consequence of this. Naturaly it is easier to find a scapegoat that to reform our life, which is the requirement for any change.
