Did Mary ever say that Jesus was Son of God?

We don’t find in Quran anything like that, that Mary herself ever told that Jesus was Son of God. Jesus was born of Mary; it is primarily a mother who tells such things. Isn’t it?

It’s ironic that you’re citing the Koran when you’re not even a Muslim.

Also, it is God Himself who said Jesus is the Son of God when He spoke through His angel Gabriel:

“He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of David his father, and he will rule over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.” (Luke 1: 32-33)

He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High

“Most High” is a Jewish name for God. “He will be great” means Jesus is God, for only God is great. Hence, Jesus is the Son of God, God Himself. The angel says “will be called Son of the Most High” becuase Jesus’ Name means “Help of the Lord”, and this is what the Son of God has come to do, to help or redeem mankind, and hence He is the Help (Redemption) of the Lord.

and the Lord God will give him the throne of David his father, and he will rule over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.

The Jews were expecting a Davidic messiah, who would rule for eternity, and who would unite the Kingdom of Israel under himself. Hence, Jesus is the Messiah: He is given the throne of David, He reigns forever, and His Kingdom - the Kingdom of Israel, which He has universalized in accordance with the Old Testament promises of universal salvation - will have no end.

God sent Mary a message by an Angel who revealed to her that she would be the Mother of God.

Her cousin Elizabeth, inspired by the Holy Spirit, confirmed this:

The Bible tells us, about Mary In Lu.1:31-38 when God sent the angel Gabriel to her and said, "Greetings, You, who are highly favored! The Lord is with you. verse 31 “You will be with child and give birth to a Son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, 32. He will be great and will be called the son of the Most High. The Lord God will give Him the throne of His Father David.33. and He will reign over the House of Jacob forever; His kingdom will never end.”

Mt.1:23 reads,"The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a Son, and they will call Him Immanuel, which means, “God with us.”
In Mt.3:17 At the baptism of Jesus Christ, A voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased.”

Jesus always knew who He was. He is God robed in flesh.

I think on a thing in which Quran and Bible both agree; you should also agree, in my opinion, and you should care for that.

What difference does it make that it doesnt say in the Bible, using quotation marks that Mary says Jesus is the Son of God?

It does say that an angel visited her and told her she would give birth to the Son of God and that she said yes

She was humble, she knew not to go around bragging “Hey look at my boy, He is God’s Son”

Blessed Mother said Jesus was the Son of God at least once in the year 1531 (so even if she wasn’t quoted in the Quran, she has been quoted since the time of Muhammad.)

Can you imagine what would have happen if she proudly proclaim to the people that Jesus is the Son of the God of Abraham?

But to answer your question, she most probably told the Apostles about the life of Jesus when he was under her care, and how she conceived our Lord.

Adam was not born but created: Christ was born without a father. The creation of Adam was in this respect similar to the creation of the world, and the lower animals; whereas the Qur’an itself says that Christ’s supernatural birth took place through God’s purpose to give men a sign, and this is not to said of any other prophet’s birth. To Abraham and Zecharias there was promised, according to the Qur’an a “wise son,” “a righteous prophet.” But regarding Christ’s birth the language used is very different, for Mary it is said, “Her who kept her maidenhood, and into whom We breathed Our spirit, and made her and her son a sign as without parallel. The same language is used neither of Mohammed nor of anyone else. Why is this, except because Christ is superior to all onther prophets?

Why did God chose to interrupt the natural course of event in this way.

OK… so some guys from the east (Not Jews) see a star and come looking for God… they know he is an infant because of the stars… they bring gifts of Gold Frankincense and Myhrr. So what do these gifts mean?
Gold is only owned by Kings… So Jesus is King
Frankincense is an incense that is only used for God… So Jesus is God
Myhrr is only used for burial of the dead… So Jesus is Human…

Jesus is King
Jesus is God
Jesus is Man

How did strangers know and not God’s own people Israel? Because they supposed they knew what their Messiah would do and how he would come… and they were wrong.

I’m trying to figure out why paar asked this question. Maybe it was to find out what we actually know about the Mother of God.
Ask him what he believes. Answer his question with a question When the question is nonsense to begin with. why waste your time.
