Did the Virgin Mary say anything to Jesus at the cross? I saw the movie the passion and it states Mary saying flesh of my flesh heart of my heart let me die with you … is this in the bible or some alike this …?

Flesh of my flesh… Heart of my heart… My son, let me die with you.
This line does not appear in Scripture and is one of many deviations from the Gospel account of Christ’s Passion that Mel Gibson includes in his movie, The Passion of the Christ.

The analogy of Mary’s dying with her Son, Jesus, however, provides a lovely insight to Mariology–particularly, Mary as Co-redemptrix with Jesus.

You may find this article on the topic interesting. 🙂

The last words recorded in the Bible are said at the Wedding at Cana. She said “Do whatever he tells you” (John 2:3-5 ) It is probable IMHO that she would have said something to Jesus.

Remember that not everything that happened in Jesus’ life was written down in the Scriptures. (It even says so, at the end of the Gospel of John!)

And really, can you imagine a mother standing next to her dying Son not saying anything at all? I’m sure she said something loving and comforting to Him.

There is this which fits along the lines of your category of “something alike this” as evident there in the words of the Angel Gabriel’s announcement in Luke 1:35.

“…the child to be born of you

(italics mine) the words ‘of you’ since relegated down to a footnote in the RSV-CE editions but there intact in the Challoner Douay-Rheims translation of the Vulgate. These two words intimate much about her role as theotokos and co-redemptrix. Its a shame that they are overlooked.

other text that further echoes the line in the film.
Gen 3:15 *her seed *

Blessings and ty for your curiosity making it all a powerful reminder ever worth remembering 🙂

That line was taken from the revelations of Anne Catherine Emmerich, a visionary who had many visions of the life of Christ and Our Lady. Pax Christi

If Mary did say something we are not privy to it because there is nothing in Scripture or tradition.

Something reminiscent of that is stated in the Bible, but it’s very different. It was foretold that Mary would suffer like Jesus because her heart would be pierced with sorrow (Luke 2:34-35) – that is traditionally associated with the Crucifixion.

So perhaps that is where this came from; anyway, I remember thinking of that prophecy when I heard that line in the movie.
