Did Mary tell me to do this?

Since December 6th I’ve been praying a 54 day novena for healing (I won’t be specific about what needs to be healed). It ends on Jan 28th.

I was at Mass on Thursday and was so utterly desperate that I said in my heart "ok God I’m ready. Heal me in 3…2…1… (I know how silly that is, it’s also tempting God). But right then I got a text. I didn’t check it until after Mass but it simply said “15”. So I took this as an message from Mary that she wants me to pray 15 decades of the rosary daily- this was something I had been praying about. And so I made a promise to Mary that I’d do that.

The timing of the text mixed with the fact that I had just recently asked Mary how many decades she wants me to pray, makes me think it was a message. Is this too far out there?

I don’t think it was Mary who texted you, so that’s probably an important missing piece to the puzzle. Who was the text actually from and what was the context of the “15” they were texting you (in their side of the context of the story?) If it’s a family or close friend who says “I suddenly had an overwhelming feeling I needed to text you at this particular moment and tell you the number 15! I hope it means something to you” then I would say that is quite interesting. BUT the text had to come from someone… so I’m wondering a few more details. 🙂

No, it is a coincidence. Keep praying though.
Any prayer, make it a daily habit.

God and His saints are pretty clear when they want to communicate with us.

Ask the person that texted you what they meant. Ring them and ask.

It was just a family member saying when he’d be home. But I thought God may speak through others in a way not intended by the other

I think it was just coincidence. But obviously prayers are always a good thing so 15 more is a positive goal. 🙂
