Did Mohammed Really Believe The Bible Was Corrupt?

Another thing that’s hard to fathom is Mohammed claims to be a descendant of Ishmael. Muslims claim to be descendants of Ishmael the son of the slave Hagar. Whereas we Christians are spiritual sons of Isaac, sons of the covenant made to Abraham through Isaac.

Of course Muslims claim that’s a forgery it was really Ishmael Abraham’s first born that was offered as a sacrifice while at the same time the book of Genesis tells us many times the father’s blessing is constantly been passed over the first born son to the next son because of their failure to live up to what they were call to. Even the Quran acknowledges Jacob, Joseph etc. to be prophets who were not the first born sons…
This where Islam faulters in a real big way. The Quran doesn’t mention the name of the son (the Only Son).

Why would Allah fail to mention the name? 🤷

Personal attacks only shame the attacker and keep the target of them in further ignorance. One can argue against another’s point without resorting to childish and un-Christian behavior.

Who really cares what Mohammed thought about the authenticity of Christian and Jewish Scriptures? I’m supposed to believe the testimony of some guy in the middle of Arabia, far from Jerusalem and 6 centuries removed from the events of the Gospels OVER the eye-witnesses of the events themselves? Why? Just because he said he saw an angel that no one else but him could see and that he made trips to heaven that no-one else but him could see and that that angel gave him the verses he recited to the Arabs? No thanks.

I’ll take the word of St. Peter, St. John and the others any day, than the word of a guy who had absolutely zero knowledge or connection in history, time or geography to the events of the Gospels. 👍
Is this so hard to accept when 1500 years later European Catholics doubted and formulated the Protocanonical book that they accept as Scripture and rejected the authority of the body that provided the basis to formulate the Protocanonicals?🙂

I am with you I don’t take the word of any guy like Mohammed, Martin, John, Henry or Ulrich…gotta go with the group conscience that was established.😃
