Did our family pet go to heaven?

Our Family very recently lost one of our family dogs, her name was Camilla. Although, we have 4 other dogs, the sense of loss is Great. My heart aches for her everyday. We are having a very difficult time dealing with her loss. My question is, did she go to Heaven? And will our hearts ever heal? Thank you.
