I don’t think there is an official Church position on whether or not St. Paul was a stigmatic. The two schools of thought on this passage is that he is referring to a) the stigmata, or b) the wounds he suffered preaching the Gospel (e.g., the various times he was scourged).Does Galatians 6:17 mean that Paul had the stigmata?

both the Ignatius Study Bible and the Douay Haydock commentaries say that Paul is referring to scars he has received from preaching the Gospel.

No. It’s actually quite rare for the Church to officially interpret any particular passage of Scripture. The Church cites Scripture a lot, but rarely interprets it.Does the Church have a position on this?

The marks on Paul’s body probably refers to scars from the many beatings he endured.
*The crowd joined in attacking them; and the magistrates tore the garments off them and gave orders to beat them with rods. (Acts 16:22)
and when they saw the tribune and the soldiers, they stopped beating Paul. (Acts 21:32)
Are they servants of Christ? I am a better one – I am talking like a madman – with far greater labors, far more imprisonments, with countless beatings, and often near death. (2 Corinthians 11:23)
Three times I have been beaten with rods; once I was stoned. Three times I have been shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been adrift at sea; (2 Corinthians 11:25)*
Everything that happened to Jesus also happened to Peter, and then to Paul. That is one of the themes of Acts of the Apostles, that what happened to Jesus also happens to the Church and the Apostles experienced it personally. Jesus was beaten, so was Peter and so was Paul. As members of Christ’s Body we should expect to experience exactly the same thing Christ experienced.
The Galatian Christians to whom Paul was writing were being told by “Judaizers” that they had to be circumcised. Paul addresses this at the very end of the letter to the Galatians where he talks about those who insist in circumcision “in the flesh” and compares that to the more superior marks in his own flesh from suffering as Christ suffered.
