Did the Apostles sin when they were with our Lord, Jesus?

And if they did…did they go to Jesus to ask forgiveness? I was wondering if there is anywhere that states this. I know what Judas Iscariot did and Peter denied Christ three times. But, I wondered if the Apostles sinned when they were with Christ and had to confess them? The Apostles being human made me think of this.

Perhaps this is a silly question but my curiosity has gotten the best of me.🙂

Love,
Sheila

I pray all are doing well today and that God will help you in your endeavors…❤️

We are all humans, therefore subject to fall from time to time.

St. Peter did deny Jesus 3 times the night HE was captured and taken to the Sanhedrin.

Jesus told him he would do this.

We know that Peter was forgiven because after the resurrection Peter was given the task to feed and care for Jesus’s sheep.

So do not fret over this, be assured that He forgives our sins. His love is infinite.

Okay and thank you. I was wondering when the Apostles followed Jesus, does it say anywhere that they sinned and had to be forgiven? As we do in our human nature and our failures to do His bidding. I know they were human and probably did.

I thought there was something on paper to denote this.

Thank you again for responding!

Anyone else?
