Did the Catholic Church change the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday?

I have heard that the bible references the day of worship to be on Saturday the Sabbath day as express by the 10 commandments, but that the Catholics changed this to Sunday. Can you tell me if this is so and if it is when it was changed and why?
