A non-Catholic told me that the Catholic Church in Rome, the Vatican, helped SS officers escape from Germany after WWII into South America. He said they were welcomed into SA because of their intelligence and much needed skills. I disagreed heartily, but had no proof. He sent me a link “prooving” it. After doing some research, I found the source of this information was the “Church of God, Halifax”, and the article was written by a Al. DesLaurier—I could not find any info on him, but from some of his other articles it looks like he is a Rome hater. Could you shed some light on this topic as I just hate it when people say such ugly things about my Church!! I do know that the Vatican helped many jews escape the horrors of Germany, so how could we ever have helped the German SS???
