Did the magi remain pagans?

Did the magi continue to be pagans after they left Jesus?
 
Possibly. This is something we just don’t know. We do know that the magi are now honored by the Church as saints – tradition gives them the names Caspar, Melchior, and Balthazar – so they must have lived righteous lives.
