Did the Pope deny the existance of Limbo?

I have heard that Pope Benedict XVI has denied the existence of limbo because God does not allow the existence of it. pope really said that? if is true, is this claim against the infallibility of the church which has always supported its existence? (for example in the First Vatican Council and in other two Ecumenical council)
