Did we commit sin here?

Hi everybody…

Here’s my question–last month my parents and I took a vacation at a bed+breakfast near the beach. This place was owned and operated by two gay men. We knew the owners were gay when we made the reservation. My question is–did we commit sin or scandal by patronizing a gay-run establishment? I don’t know what exactly the sin might be but I just have a feeling we did something that wasn’t right.

Did we sin or am I just being scrupulous??

If it was a gay b & b and you all decided to go there because it was a gay b & b … then there may be sin involved. I mean, **as if **your parents would take you to a gay establishment to overnight.

I get the sense that it was a respectable b & b incidentally owned by two gay guys. Where’s the sin in that? There are many respectable businesses which are incidentally owned by gays, protestants, atheists and so on…

Haha, no…we actually went there because that was the only place in town that accomodated dogs.

I think your okay. We can’t live in a bubble and only go to other Catholics for all of our needs. Besides…if I had a choice between a hotel owned by a lukewarm Catholic or a hotel owned by a non-catholic…I’d choose the latter. Does that make me a sinner?

Pax.

We have a woman vet. that is gay. She takes care of our dogs and cat in a professional manner. My only interest in what she does is in our animals care. And I truly am the worlds worst redneck…go figgure?

If you went there because it was run by two gay men, then it is a sin because you are supporting the gay lifestyle. Just going to a place would not be.

Absolutely no sin attached, they are Gods children too, they need to make a living also.
