Did we sin by missing Mass?

Me and my son missed Sunday Mass or other times holy day of obligation due to transportation issue. If we pray the holy rosary and other prayers when we missed Sunday Mass and holy day of obligation because of transportation issue, are we still in mortal sin?

The obligation to attend Mass only exists if someone is reasonably able to fulfill the obligation. If you did not have transportation to attend Mass then your obligation ceased to exist since no one can obligated to do the impossible.
