are you referring to the slut fashion show or the gratuitous political commentary from vacuous hollywood types? I don’t watch the programs so why would I watch the awards show? I have a life, it has no room for soft porn, anti-human values, degradation of women, glorification of pathological behavior and dysfunctional families, all in the name of consumer marketing.

Amen. For me TV means EWTN and the History Channel… or the occasional John Wayne movie. :clapping:

I voted other, this year because I was watching the Bengals-Dolphins game (GO BENGALS!), but even so, the only shows I watch that were nominated for anything are Monk and Everybody Loves Raymond.
 
Nope. I find most award shows rather offensive. (The dress, the crude jokes). I also find it difficult to watch a show honoring actors, writers and directors that produce morally questionable programing.

Sunday night … I’ll stick to Fr. Corapi on EWTN.
