I converted from a Protestant-holiness church :bible1: . My dad is a preacher in this denomination even today. :knight2:
At an early childhood our church was in the hayloft of a barn on an 88 acre farm . We have photos of people being baptized in the pond while the cows were cooling off in the water behind them. :getholy:
A friend from work had shared the Catholic faith with me at the same time that Catholic radio was just getting started here in Cincinnati, back in 2001/2002… in between that friend and Catholic Answers I came home and I haven’t been the same since. I have a greater understanding of what it means to be a Christian, a deeper connection to Christ through the fullness of the faith, and a peaceful joy that permeates body and soul.
