Yep, Tulane University had a radio show in the early 80s that played techno music on Tuesday nights, the name of the show was call… Techno 2000 🙂

Lone Justice…the best band that never quite made it. I still listen to them sometimes. Maria McKee is definitely one of my favorite female singers.

Really?

Back then I was a pretty young teen without any money to buy all the records I wanted. So I’d tape the songs off of the radio. I had to start taping when the DJ stopped talking, and then press stop as close to the end of the song as possible.

Lol…you shoulda got you a Dual tape deck, that way you could edit out all the commercials and DJ chatter. 🙂
