🤷 Less dangerous than taking Dubya’s pretexts for going into Iraq for literal fact instead of the propaganda that some of them actually are.

Please don’t take the above to mean that I have anything less than the utmost respect and lots of prayers for the troops serving in Iraq and elsewhere :gopray2:

When all else fails, insult. Personal attacks add absolutely nothing to a conversation. It is one thing to criticize what someone does, what someone writes (if you have read the works), or how someone behaves. Attacking someone’s personal appearance is not appropriate. I am not fond of some of the statements Ann Coulter makes, but that is her schtick (?). She is a very bright person, constitutional lawyer and extremely successful author with very detailed footnotes.

Well, yes very true. Some want to believe it…His films are not true and are proven wrong time and again…

I would call it liberal communist propaganda.

Other than considering them dupes and claimimg they have lost the war I am sure you support the troops. You should check what they say about people who want to unilatrerally pull out of Iraq yet claim to supprt them

I have not seen “sicko” yet, but have seen the clips and interviews about the film. Having been in the healthcare industry for over 25 years, I would like to know exactly which statements are “liberal communist propaganda”?

Michael Moore seems to have creditable sources for his statistics. You have made the charge that it is “liberal communist propaganda.” Can you back up this statement? Or is it just more “right-wing propaganda?”

I don’t know exactly what is propaganda, BUT-I do know the Healthcare industry is :mad:
As corrupt as it gets. Doesn’t anyone else get mad that they charge $200 for an asprin at a hospital? Who is there to keep the healthcare system in check? Don’t get me wrong, I love the USA’s hospitals, but there is no doubt that it is a money hungry corrupt organization.

I didn’t see Sicko, but had a similar experience as a lady that told the story about her insurance co not covering her hospital bills because she did not “pre register” After a CAR ACCIDENT WHEN SHE WAS UNCONSCIOUS!!!. We had the same thing happen to us…and guess what the bill was? $40,000! I was hooked up to an iv for 2 days for being extremely dehydrated during pregnancy…2 days and $40,000! That is highway robbery!:eek:

Micheal Moorewent to a Canadian hoospital werhe he talked to happy patioents who told him that they had been treated in 45 minutes.

Fact: the Acerage wait time in a Canadian emergencey room is 4 to 6 hours. The average wait time for elective surgery is 3 years. The average wait time for being seen as a pain mgt clinic is a year. Was any opf this in Moores fraudumentary.?
 
Why doesn’t someone start a post for the canadians on the CAF and ask them about their experiences with their Healthcare system!

I talked to one already, he said it was Aok!:confused:

Absolutely corrupt! And it is true that the pharmaceutical companies have the politicians in their back pockets.(and vice versa)

But I still don’t see why this has anything to do with Michael Moore being an ex-seminarian.
I have known many ex-seminarians and none have been “liberal commmunist” propagandists.

And since no one can provide any documentation that “Sicko” is such, WAKE UP PEOPLE!

Any documentation to back this up? Michael Moore has documentation to back up that 84% of Canadians are satisfied with their health care.

Sounds like propaganda to me. Just because you don’t like MM’s political views, does not mean that he is to be discredited in all of his work. I KNOW that much of what he says in this documentary is true. Has affected several members of my own immediate and extended family.
