Didn't get to do penance

Well I am going to get to reconciliation when I can. Soon I hope. I want to get into meditations and devotions. They seem to give me determination. Something that has never happened before is I will have to confess not getting to do the penance assigned. I ran into personal problems. I have never not done penance. I’ve done it straight away or waited a day or two at the most.
 
NO he wanted me to go for a walk and do the rosary. I started walking down one of the streets and young smart alecs on the street started giving me a hard time. I had to talk to the police. 😦
 
Get a finger rosary, they are about $2. You can pray the rosary while walking in silence with no beads. Just go for a walk, keep count in your pocket. (Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

That is the life of a follower of Christ, we will be mocked and harassed 24/7 because of Him. I have learned to ignore the distractions. I agree, more meditations and devotions will get you closer to Christ, and ask forgiveness for your error in allowing the distraction to forgo your restorative penance.
 
Well actually what they said or was yelling was nothing to do with the faith. I live in a strange neighborhood. if people don’t like you they say things. But I stay away from everyone. So IDK what the issue was. So going down the street was threatening for a while. I haven’t seen a couple of them since.
 
I’m sorry you had a hard time completing the penance and that people in your area are difficult.

Confess that you were unable to complete your prior penance. Complete your new penance and then be at peace. 🙏
 
The fact that you are sharing shows that your heart is in the right place and that you are aware of what you must do. We are all human and this could have easily happened to anyone of us. May you be granted the peace one feels after confession and penance. God Bless
