Okay, so here’s the issue: I know of the Mk 7, Acts 10/11 passages in the Bible and they were all used in a debate between Christians and Jews today. Sadly, it seemed the Jews had better arguments.

This site also is rather irky:
users.aristotle.net/~bhuie/common.htm

Can someone please debunk it?
Why do we not forbid those forbidden foods?

The issue is much bigger than you think. If we must obey the OT laws on what and when to eat, we must also obey all the OT laws given to the Jews. So it comes down to the question of whether Christianity has been false from the beginning (since from the beginning various of these laws were held not binding on Christians).

IMHO, you can believe two things, but not a third.
  1. You can believe that the Jewish law still applies, and that the Messiah has not come.
  2. You can believe that the Messiah has come, and released us from the Jewish law (but not the moral law).
But what you cannot believe, for it involves fundamental contradictions, is that the Messiah has come, but that we are still bound to Jewish law. For then everything we think we know about the Messiah and his founding of his Church is false.

I understand that.

Also from Tradition, that is rather clear.

But is there any OT reference that deals away with the 613 mitvot when the messiah comes?
