Difference between white wedding and non-white wedding?

Hi…i really dont understand the diferent between the two. Can you help me?
 
The Church does not regulate the color of wedding attire. While the norm for Western European cultures is for the bride to wear white, that is not the tradition in many other parts of the world. The color of the bridal dress is up to the bride.
