Seeing one good reason as to why God would have allowed Obama to win with a majority vote from Catholics - may be to let many in The Church know how 'popular vote ’ and councils can be so misled …and how would any authority in a Church that depend on such poular opinion be able to stand up and proclaim truths such as of Humanae Vitae …
You must be kidding me.

I’m back for one post.

Aramis and Anthony, thank you for your prayers. It was a long drive! 🙂

I’m in the process of looking for a teaching position at some university or high school, so I will be very busy and generally unavailable at posting much until such time as I am settled down and established in my early career.

I wish I can post more, but I can’t do so at this time due to my time and attention being focused elsewhere. I also get private messages every now and then, and I’ll have to attend to those for the time being.

Ignatios, thank you for your responses. In order to respond to you, I would have to devote some energy and time which is being focused elsewhere right now. I prefer not to make quick responses, so I will keep your replies to me “as is”, without a response.

Take care brethren, God bless you all!

Then what will you say on my following points. Before the arrival of colonialists, there was only one church in India. All followed same practices and traditions. Then after their arrival it first split into 2, then 4. Now I think there are 6. That is the same group of christians are in 6 groups now. How will you console me in that case? Initially the games of Portuguese led to church split into catholics and syrian orthodox. Then when British came, their games split orthodox into 3 groups, that is, Marthoma, syrian orthodox, Indian orthodox. Agian games of British split Indian orthodox into Malankara catholic and Indian orthodox. Their games now continue with the schisms in orthodox church here.
Now scholars argue on going back to our ancient traditions. My question is it better to have all people in a single church or 6 churches which happened in India?
Oriental syrian churches in india have to be united

Marthoma syrian +jacobite+indian orthodox=malankara church
Syro malabar+syro malankara (derived from indian orthdox)=catholic

I echo my brother Malphono’s suprise!!

In addition, Shonejo is incorrect about his statement.

The Malankara Church = the Jacobite + Indian Orthodox + Syro-Malankara + Malabar Independent Syriac Church + loosely Marthoma

The Malabar Church = Syro-Malabar + Chaldean-Syrian of Trichur
