Different angle on Purgatory

Let say one family member prays for years for another member(non believer) but the non-believer dies suddenly,but God answered the believes prayers, where did the non-believer go ?I will say probably to a hellish, low level of Purgatory, for a long stay,what say you ?
 
The question can’t be answered by a mere human and God himself rarely posts here.

Not all prayer requests are granted. God has told us that He will not violate the free will of any man and force him to choose to love God. Your prayers can and will result in many opportunities being presented to the unbeliever. And take solace in the fact that not everyone who SAYS they do not believe has truly rejected God in their hearts. Only God can judge that. We can only wait and be hopeful.
 
God respects atheists.I think they go to a nice, peaceful meadow, probably the same place as animals.
