Why is there such a dualistic thinking when comes to worship? If you go to church, people assume you are one of rule-following self-righteous close-minded Pharisee type people. Mass and church are not the only places to practice to the faith. People make it seem to if you are a church-goer that means you lack love or true spirituality. Kind of annoys me. I understand Jesus did not always follow the strict laws of the Pharisees. It’s like “liberal” vs. conservative forms of worship. In the end it is the heart that matters.

That’s pretty much true, I think.

I have to admit, though, that I think like the Pharisee, though, more often than I like, which would be not at all.🙂

The main thing is just to keep our focus on God and try to do his will and love our neighbor out of love for God.

Christians will be misunderstood at times and falsely accused as Jesus was. We should not be surprised when these little crosses come our way because they certainly will come.

Peace 'n Blessings!

Many people, at least in my experience, people who say they don’t need mass to have a relationship with God are usually people who just don’t want to follow the teaching of the Church to the tee. Most of them, once again from my experience, aren’t really knowledgeable about Jesus or his teaching. They believe but don’t follow.
