Different Lectionary for Latin Mass

I went to my normal OF mass yesterday… and noticed that there a Latin EF mass later that day. Out of curiosity (never been to a Latin mass before), I attend the latter as well. It was very beautiful (the choir, the incense, etc.) but I was surprised to find that the readings were different. I’d assumed they’d be the same. Shouldn’t we all be “on the same page” with the daily readings regardless of the form?

As you might have suspected, the OF and EF have two different calendars. Among other things the OF operates on a 3-yr calendar and the EF on a 1-yr calendar. Also there is an extra reading in the OF.

I’ll let others fill in the details.
 
It is simply called a missall. It follow the traditional 1 year cycle calendar.
