I think you misunderstood, I said before that many men are very similar to the thinking of women and know a lot more about what women think or feel. And also, not everything should be taught, each should keep their uniqueness of personality and we were created different by a reason which must not be eliminated. But we can still learn to communicate lovingly and in a caring way,by understanding each other. It’s better only in romantic situations, I wrote about it a bit before, as it is mysterious and I find it exciting to find out what he feels, but it’s definitely not practical and useful at all in everyday situations.
I agree. I clearly did not understand anything you were trying to say.

Learning that there is such a thing as a screw and a screwdriver in no way changes that one has been given a hammer because even after you learn about screws you find that there are still situations that call for nails. You can get yourself a brand new pneumatic nail gun, and sometimes an old-fashioned hammer is still just the thing!

When we learn how to communicate, part of that is recognizing who we are communicating with and what ways of communicating are the most likely to get our thoughts across in a kind and yet practical way. Marriage is give and take, but you can’t give from what you don’t have. Learning that there are different communication styles out there and different skills that can be learned, both expressive and receptive, both verbal and nonverbal, is needed by all but the luckiest couples, those few who by temperament and lucky chance understand each other right from the start. The rest of us have to be willing to get out of our own habits and be giving enough to compensate for the differences that would otherwise divide us from our spouses. That is not a gender-specific thing!

Thank you for your advice, it’s very useful. It’s good that you wrote that only very few couple don’t have to work on it, because I tend to live in a dreamworld of mine in which everything should work perfectly, and this is wrong. Also, it’s difficult to get rid of this point-of-view and it is harmful.I think and I agree that it mostly should depend on love and understanding, how much we are willing to or able to give, not gender. God bless you!
