In a broad sense, I agree with the idea that human eye contact and touch is necessary for human flourishing.
I smiled at the picture of the line of girls giving each other head-rubs. When I was in school, sometimes we’d line up and fix each other’s hair like this…

However…

In our current hyper-litigious, hyper-bullying and hyper-sexualized environment, I would be soooo nervous about implementing anything like this.

At the very least, a person’s right to choose to be touched, or not, and who by, must be honored.

And what about the kid that nobody wants to touch?
