I am currently taking a potent medication that has some serious side effects. I can cope with most things, but what’s really bugging me at the moment is the drowsiness. It’s affecting everything and making things doubly hard. I should only be on the medication for a few more months, so could you pray that I have the perseverance to get through, and for some relief from this deadening feeling of extreme tiredness. Many thanks and may God bless you for reading this.

***Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death
Amen.

:crossrc:***

I pray that God gives you a special grace to handle the side effects. I pray that your body could somehow adjust and you get some energy back. Amen. :signofcross:

AVE MARIA, gratia plena, Dominus tecum. Benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Iesus. Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc, et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.

Check back with your doctor, too, please.

:signofcross: Heavenly Father, help Eruvande with this medication; minimize the side effects; use this medication for healing and strength; and wrap her in your love, grace and peace!!!

(And protect her and bless her as she makes her spiritual journey home to Catholicism)

Please be aware that the side effect you mention as serious should be mentioned to your doctor.

May our Lord Jesus Christ and His Mother be with you, and be your healing.

Thank you all - sadly this side effect has been a problem since last November and the doctor is of the opinion that the medication is still worth using. He will be helping me to reduce the dosage starting in May which should be the beginning of my relief.

Prayer for Those on Medication

Gracious God, You have given us many healing remedies that are a benefit to us when we are sick. Through the miraculous intercession of St. Anthony, we ask Your blessing upon the medication prescribed for Eruvande so that she may experience healing, and be restored to full health in mind and body.

Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.
