I know how to relate to Father. I understand Son. But I find myself grasping to love the Holy Spirit like I should. I feel closer to Mary. And I love and extol Her and pray my rosary with joy daily, but I feel like I am leaving Him out. He’s God. He’s the Soul of my soul. I love Him, but it feels subdued. I can even relate to St. Michael. Maybe it’s the proper nouns? I mean I know the Father had no body, but we can anthropomorphosize Him and I can see myself sitting in His lap. Jesus literally came in the flesh. But The Holy Spirit? We have images of a Dove, and Fire and Wind. Hard to relate to. I dunno. Anyone else ever deal with this? Im aware of course that God is one, but seems approriate to be able to hinor the Trinity in totality for each Person therin. Suggestions to properly honor and adore Him and love Him in my spiritual life? He deserves all my ardent love.
