Difficulty in obtaining work

Hi. My girlfriend Angela has been looking for a job for quite some time now, and we want to get started on the road to marriage, but in order to do so we both need to work (not only that, but to give her a bit of confidence and independence as well). Would you be able to pray for her please.
 
St. Joseph, please help all who are in need of work, especially Angela. Help Angela and the op live good Christian lives, and if it be God’s will, lead them towards holy matrimony with each other so that they can glorify God through devotion to family and work as you did. Most chaste spouse of the Blesse Virgin and foster-father of Jesus, pray for Angela and her boyfriend. Amen.

Prayer to St. Joseph for the Unemployed

O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries. Amen.
 
Prayer for Employment

God, our Father, I turn to you seeking your divine help and guidance as I look for suitable employment. I need your wisdom to guide my footsteps along the right path, and to lead me to find the proper things to say and do in this quest. I wish to use the gifts and talents you have given me, but I need the opportunity to do so with gainful employment. Do not abandon me, dear Father, in this search, but rather grant me this favor I seek so that I may return to you with praise and thanksgiving for your gracious assistance. Grant this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
 
It is pretty hard to make it on a single paycheck these days, esp, if you want everything that everyone else has. I have a “friend” that is on disability and has most of the things that can’t I afford, but I chalk it up that they are material things that may be gifts or things that I don’t need, but just wouldn’t mind having. I do need a phone and my computer is my window to the world. That is how life is. If I have a roof over my head, food on my table, and a bed to sleep in, I am better of than more than a third of the world. Your wondering what has this got to do with you. Well, you may have to give things up, do without, or live on a very tight budget, but still marriage is not out of the question. Still, as I do not really know your situation, I will pray that everything works out for you and for the good.👍
