Dilemma re work and illness

My dilemma: I have come down with a stomach virus, and believe I will be contagious for at least 3 days after I’m well. (I caught it from one of the children I care for)
Part of my job is caring for a fragile handicapped child who is susceptible to such illnesses and could be harmed by it. (She’s trached because of RSV)
But I don’t have much sick time, and I can’t afford to miss much work, as I’m the sole support of my family.
What should I do?
 
Stay home until you are well. You have an obligation to yourself and the child you care for to not spread your illness. Don’t worry about the money. As Christ told us, today’s troubles are enough for today. You will find a way to make up the money you lost.
