I went to this video & got sidetracked reading the appalling comments. I have never been sheltered a day in my life but those comments left me with my mouth hanging open!:eek: Racist comments against Dinesh, sexist comments against Ann Coulter & Laura Ingraham, even one advocating the Laura be sexually assaulted (my word, not theirs) and forced to have the baby, apparently because she is Catholic.Doubly bad racist and sexist comments about Michelle Malkin. I am not in favor of PC or the thought police but I am guessing some of these people would NEVER say those things about someone who was not conservative. Simply sickening.
 
Wow! That is sick autdrew. And he doesn’t even mention anything political.
 
Are you referring to the video I posted the link to autdrew? Unless all of the negative comments have been erased I didn’t see those types of comments, just a Hindu disagreeing.

When you have no argument, you have to fill in the empty space with insults.
 
It’s always great to hear from Dinesh. I’ve heard him debate before, and he has a masterful mind. His logical approach to Christianity is on a par with C.S. Lewis. In fact, I’ve been thinking about picking up a copy of his recent book “What’s So Great About Christianity?”. Maybe today’s the day. 😉

Also just read Patrick Madrid’s new Book The Godless delusion
I have one question about Dinesh
I thought he was Catholic but his book so far seems to be written from a broader Christain View
Anyone else have thoughts on this?

Sounds like he has found the “easy” form of Christianity that he was looking for.

Let me be a bit sarcastic: this is a very charitable comment by you, Crumpy.

I’m delighted to here when anyone experiences a real, personal relationship with Jesus. Some here seem to have that and they are catholics. I rejoice with them in their relationship with our Savior. Too bad you can’t do the same for Dinesh!!

I think it’s nice when someone doesn’t come across as a “holier than thou” Pharisee. You know the type; people who want to push God off of His throne of judgment and do the job for Him. That’s just ugly, and not very Christ-like. Agree?

Hiya Crumpy:

I don’t think that remark was very Christian like. My thought and what is important is that he IS a Christian and that is good enough for me for now. Sooner or later ( hopefully sooner ), he will realize what he is missing and will look into Catholicism. With the Help of the Holy Spirit ( if he listens to Him ) he will return to the Church of his childhood with his family, like I and many others have done. Just be patient and pray. God Bless.

I have heard evangelical Christians refer to their path in religion as a shopping spree. I regret that he found it necessary not only to look outside the Catholic Church but to jump there, too.

I don’t think what he said was “cool” or “neat.”

If I ruffled any feathers here, I have a few ruffled feathers from Mr. D’Souza – the very suggestion that he didn’t find Jesus except outside the Catholic Church.

No, I’m a bit more than ruffled about that. Jesus was more than ruffled a couple times, too.

Certainly, no one should be led astray by Mr. D’Souza.
