Oh, heck! Let’s go a step further, shall we? Wouldn’t an iPhone or an atomic bomb have been of use? Of course! So what’s wrong with those silly early hominins? Why didn’t they get on the stick and make an iPhone for crying out loud?!?!?Devastating logic, my friend. I mean, of what use would advanced tools and a wheel would be to anyone … or writing, or a boat, or metallurgy …? Why invent a spear or bow-and-arrow when you can throw a rock? Why invent a metal sword when you’ve got a stick?
Your “devastating logic” only devastates the case you’re attempting to build, I’m afraid. The fact that things happened in the way (and on the timeline) that they did doesn’t disprove that they happened the way they did, as you apparently hope to assert.
Good on ya. The Church doesn’t require that belief, nor does it condemn the opposing belief. My belief is that God created man in his own image not long before boats, writing, the wheel and metallurgy were invented … so no longer than 15, 000 years ago (assuming the accepted date of the first known boats - 10,000 ya - is correct).
Be careful… you’re stepping into “god of the gaps” territory there, my friend! If we find something that occurred 15,000 or 20,000 years ago, you’ll find yourself in the position to be required to say "well… maybe not 15,000 years ago; maybe 25,000… or 35,000… or…so no longer than 15, 000 years ago (assuming the accepted date of the first known boats - 10,000 ya - is correct).

No. He reanimated a dead body. “Reanimation” =/= “creation”.Jesus created a man instantly from inanimate matter when he raised Lazarus from the dead
