I perhaps didn’t say that right. To be canonized, two miracles must be proved. Presuming we must accept the canonization, it follows that we accept the Church’s ruling on the miracles. If I said or implied that one must be a devotee to one or both those miracles, I’ll take that comment back. Fair enough?Making who a saint?A visionary or ordinary Catholic who chooses not to follow a particular devotion. Because I never heard that anyone was kept from being declared a saint for not following a particular devotion–not when there are so many to choose from. No one can possibly follow every devotion, so which one would they have to have followed in order to be declared a saint? Or am I completely missing what you meant–which is the most likely option.
