Directory of Monasteries/Religious in USA

Hi, could someone point me to an online directory of men’s religious orders in the USA? Something similar to consecrated-life.org/roman-catholic-communities-in-the-united-states/ would be nice. I’m looking for a state by state listing of all the religious communities and the cities they are located in. Does such a thing exist?

Thanks everyone for the links, I’m going to check them out now. I think I gave the mistaken impression that I’m discerning a vocation right now… I’m not, in fact I just got married on June 4th. I’m looking for religious communities near where I live (I just moved from MA to TX) to visit and be spiritually refreshed. Thanks for the help.

Congratulations to you!..Perhaps there is a listing of retreat centers near you? Also you might check your Diocesan Directory … It would list all the communities and retreat centers for your Diocese? [Which of course would give you contact info etc]…blessings to you !:angel1:

If you want the softbound Guide to Religious Ministries, which is easier to use, contact Catholic News. It’s only $10. and is fairly comprehensive. It also has some prepaid card you can send in. I have included all the info on other posts–you can search under “Guide to Religious Ministries”
