Discalced Carmelite Nuns -- US Listing

Went to go double-check to make sure the Dallas/Grand Prairie Discalced Carmelites were listed.

They were! Yay!

Dallas Carmel has a regularly-scheduled MEF and accepts older vocations. Most definitely would be on there!

They also have the lowest age limit – 16.

Reminiscent of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux.

Actually, I corrected myself in a previous post.

Canon law says that nobody is permitted to enter the novitiate before their 17th year. I’ve seen one 16 year-old postulant before, but she was going to turn 17 during her postulate year.
